Run this race as one who wants to get the prize: to be with Him forever. But you need to understand that you won't get to the finish line if the ONE thing that's driving you is something else other than God.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”—Galatians 2:20, 21 (NIV)
God loves you. Have you talked to Him today? Have you given thanks? I know things might be tough right now, But God’s got this, y’know? You’re going to be okay. Everything’s gonna work out. You’re in the palm of His hand. He’s not gonna let you go. You may stumble, and you may fall, But you’ll never fall beyond His reach. His hand will always remain outstretched, Waiting for you to grasp it. Don’t turn your face away, beloved. Don’t be ashamed. Your sins have not left you filthy and scarred. By His wounds you have been healed, By His sacrifice you have been set free. You have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. So don’t turn your face away. Don’t tell me you don’t deserve to be saved. Did any of us? No, child. No, we did not. But that’s the beauty of God’s grace - It surpasses beyond what we deserve. In spite of what we deserve. You don’t have to be ashamed anymore. He see’s you; just as you are, and yet… Yet He could never love you more than He does right now. You are so treasured, child. So precious. So loved. So valued. Don’t turn your face away. Take His hand. Let Him comfort you. Let Him uplift you. Let Him love you.
